Reco Holley 330 Carburetor Conversion - Nissan GQ Patrol TB42 - Ford Maverick
Holley 2brl carburettor is remanufactured and re-engineered for Nissan 4X4 engines. Carb is sized at 330cfm with annular boosters fitted for improved atomisation at low air speed and bottom end torque. Metering block recalibrated: main, power and pump circuits to suit the 6cyl engine to maximize fuel economy. The bowl assembly is suitable for normal hills and angles in off-road four wheel driving. This carb is designed and engineered for 4X4 off-road 6cyl use. We have had TB42 Patrols dyno tuned to a close figure that will suit a standard TB42. This helps us provide the right calibration settings for optimum efficiency provided the ignition system is working correctly (points set correctly, timing set correctly). For more modified engines, the kit will still work fine however fine tuning can be done to better optimise your engines performance.

This carb gives a substantial torque increase, and has good advantages if planning to convert to Dual fuel. (PH for details BH 0754933788)
The kit is supplied with no choke (recommended for dual fuel). For manual choke and electric choke, select options above. If you have an Automatic Transmission, you will need to state above as it will incur an extra cost to provide a TPS Fitting Kit. This is a requirement as the gearbox needs to utilise the TPS (throttle position sensor) to change gears. When you have the Automatic Fitting kit fitted to the Holley, you will not be able to have a choke as the TPS late uses the Choke Mounting points. However, you can use the Hand Throttle to hold the revs up when cold to prevent stalling which is what most people use. Call us if you have any further questions.
Please specify if you intend fitting dual fuel (LP gas), as we will modify the carb to suit gas: solid floats, Teflon bushes, sealed against air leaks. (NO EXTRA CHARGE) if you already have gas fitted to your old carb, you will need to change your gas mixer. We can also supply gas spuds that feed the gas directly into the throats of the carburettor. It is the more desired option as it does not restrict air flow which essentially allows your carburettor to deliver maximum power to your engine.
