Chrysler Valiant Slant 225 - New GENUINE WEBER Triple 40 DCOE Carburettor Kit
Considered the best and ultimate carburettor set for aggressive street and all race applications. The versatile 40 DCOE can be tuned to standard engines - or full race/rally spec.
The carbs supplied are a Brand New, GENUINE Spanish-made Weber 40 DCOE carburettor with ram tubes. These are one of the most popular aftermarket sports carburettors fitted to most 4 Cylinder, 6 cylinder and some 8 Cylinder motors around the world. Generally an instant power and torque increase from most factory standard carburettors.
40 DCOE's are a great choice for stock standard motors and most 6 Cylinder motors, especially if you are going for a throat per cylinder application.
For more sportier and aggressive style of driving, consider fitting the 45 DCOE's.
DCOE Carburettors have been around for a long time, many with different variations with calibration etc. The more older and efficient motors are getting today, tuners are finding it harder to tune the older model Weber's. In particular is the transition from progression to main circuits. Traditionally, most older Weber's used either a 2 or 3 hole Progression. This was fine to use in the day but we are demanding for smoother driving vehicles with the introduction of Computer Controlled cars. Weber are now producing a 4 Hole Progression carburettor to help eliminate flat spots off the mark and allowing tuners to refine their calibration to a more acceptable level.
These model DCOE's are a must if you are looking to get the best performance out of any engine. The benefits of fitting DCOE's are their fine tuning capabilities. With DCOE's, you can alter the following:

We Hand Prepare these carburettors, making sure that the following are set:
- -Float levels to Weber Standard
- -Throttle Butterflies are aligned and moving freely
- -Mixture screws are set to a standard stetting
- -Idle Speed screw is set to a standard setting
- -Idle Air Bleed screws are set to zero
These are done so that we know you are getting a product that is more likely to bolt on and run for you without any hassle.
The set is supplied with carb mounting hardware, Hex-rod linkage kit (no slip, will not go out of tune) and ram tubes. You can choose to upgrade from the ram tubes with sports air filters. Will need to

The carburettors are all thoroughly checked over before sending. The carbs are not pre-jetted however, baseline jetting can be arranged at an extra cost.
The linkage kit utilizes a hex rod linkage bar, meaning no slippage and a more consistent balance and tune. We supply you all the linkage components to allow you to mount your factory Throttle cable on, a return spring etc. You will need to make a throttle cable bracket or we can supply one at an extra cost.
We supply you with the appropriate fuel inlets so that you do not need a fuel block to split into 3. We also hard mount the carburettors onto the manifold to help with future maintenance with Balancing and Tuning. If you prefer soft mounts, please contact us to arrange this. We supply you with the needed studs, nuts, gaskets etc to bolt carbs onto the manifold.

YOU MUST SELECT AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FROM OPTIONS ABOVE TO GET YOUR GEARBOX TO WORK WITH THIS SET! YOUR GEARBOX GENERALLY IS A VALVE BODY SETUP AND NEEDS TO REGISTER 0-100% THROTTLE POSITION, OTHERWISE GEARBOX DAMAGE MAY OCCUR. SOME GEARBOXES ALSO HAD THE ROD KICKDOWN. THIS WILL NEED TO BE MODIFIED TO SUIT YOUR NEW CARB SETUP.
You also have the option of upgrading the Ram Tubes for Air Filters.
